    I have eb3 -2002 PD . is it possible if my wife applies labor and file 140 with my Priority date . ? Both me and my wife's 485 is pending .

    The July Visa Bulletin is out and there is really no good news. And there's terrible news for Mexicans and Chinese applicants. The Mexican 1st and 3rd family categories move backwards nearly two years. And Chinese EB-2 employment immigration applicants now join the Indian misery as priority dates retrogress five years (!) to January 2000.     H-1B employers need to be aware that June 30, 2009 will be the last day that the Department of Labor�s LCA Online system will be operational. As of July 1, 2009, all LCAs for H-1B and E-3 cases will need to be submitted through the iCERT portal (http://icert.doleta.gov/) and that means the end of instant LCA certifications.

    This has very important implications for the timing of H-1B and E-3 applications as they relate to new hires and extensions. Employers will need to allow for delays in LCA certifications of at least 7 days rather than the instant certifications that were previously issued.

    i just can't buy into the digital lens system.. Lenses are such an investment and I'd hate to go to a system like that, then a few years later have them offer their new "higher end" camera with a full frame.

    Hello gurus,
    just wanted some help on filing for EAD (paper application) (self + spouse)
    I will be mailing the docs (UPS) to this address:
    USCIS
    Nebraska Service Center
    850 S. Street
    Lincoln, NE 68508-1225

    I hope this is the right address, we live in california, 2nd EAD, first EAD filed at Nebraska with the old fee. First time EAD was filed by the attorney, this time he is charging way too much.

    Along with the application I am mailing the following docs:
    1. check $340
    2. passport pages
    3. first EAD copy and receipt
    4. 485 receipt
    5. drivers license
    6. I 94
    7. copy of birth certificate
    8. copy of marriage certificate

    Does the check list cover everything or am I missing some thing. Please help gurus.

    My attorney sent my I-485 at Nebraska center because my I-140 was pending at Nebraska but according to question # 38 on FAQ-3, it should have gone to TX based on June 22, 2007 direct filing directives. Should I file again at Texas center?

    Hi There,
    My 485 application is pending at TSC on EB3 category, country of chargebility is Inida. Yesterday my PERM labor approved on EB2 category and need to apply 140 to recapture my own EB3 PD.

    My employer will come under NSC. if the PD recaptured, I will be hardly one month away from my priority date to be current, as per the current visa bulletin dates.

    1) So can you please provide some suggestion to which Service Center will be opt for filing EB2 140 now, in order for getting an optimal or faster process for 140 and eventually 485?

    2) Does the service center really matters as it will take a very long time for me to get greened?

    3) Is it worth waiting for couple of month's visa bulletin, to see whether the EB2 I dates are moving so that I can use some streamline process to process 140 and 485 together?

    22 Democratic Senators are urging President Obama to stop deporting young people who are likely to be eligible for legalization if the DREAM Act passes.
